This photo is from a recital at "Cadoa Hall". I am back row, second from the right. If anyone remembers the "Alcazar" ball room, "Cadoa Hall" was about a block or so away and close to the Peabody. Thanks "Gordy", this was a great memory! April 07, Gordon gave me my first clarinet lesson when I was 12, now I continued with Gordon all through City College high school, and loved every weekly session with this wonderful, friendly, jovial guy.
He helped me become very proficient on the Bb Clarinet, for which I have been forever grateful. What a large wonderful family he left behind who loved him greatly. We all miss you, Gordon. Rest in peace and may God bless you. Gordy was a great person and musician, and we remember him with a smile on his face that brings one to us.
